George Baez has been in the hair industry for over 18 years and is a master at his craft.  From his humble beginnings in Western Mass, he has built Thazar Hair Studio’s reputation as a top salon, from the ground up.  George provides each guest a customized experience and his relationships with his guests are pure.  George has a flair for hair and loves what he does.  He also loves living and working in East Cambridge and is known for being outside greeting and chatting with the locals between clients.  George has a flair for Spanish food and has been known to serve traditional fare every Friday afternoon to locals and city workers.  His pride in his window dressings has made Thazar Hair a favorite spot for families walking home at night to stop and view his creative seasonal window dressings.

With a successful history of running salons in Greece and Albania, this professional is dedicated to providing exceptional hair care and customer service. Key skills include advanced cutting techniques, hair coloring and highlights, updos for special events, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

Dianesse "Didi" Berberena

Dianesse Berberena, known affectionately as Didi, is a talented hairstylist and nail technician hailing from Cambridge. Raised in an apartment complex with her mother and younger siblings, Didi’s passion for hairstyling began at an early age. Her mother, a guiding influence, introduced her to the world of protective hairstyles, and as Didi grew, so did her desire to master these techniques. 

With her mother’s guidance, she learned to braid and quickly became the go-to braider in her neighborhood, earning a reputation as the best in Cambridge. After graduating from Cambridge Rindge and Latin in 2004, she took her passion to the next level by enrolling at Empire Beauty School, where she graduated in 2005.

With two decades of experience in the beauty industry, Didi has honed her skills in cutting, coloring, extensions, and styling. She is also pursuing her new passion for nails, continuously expanding her expertise. Didi is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for her clients. Her goal is to exceed expectations, ensuring that each client leaves feeling beautiful and satisfied. 

An artist at heart, Didi loves to create and express herself through her work, making her a cherished stylist in the Cambridge community.

With seven years of experience, Elle is a professional hairstylist who specializes in haircuts. He also creates superb blowouts and does phenomenal highlights. He works under a personal motto: “If you don’t receive compliments when you leave, then the service isn’t good enough.”
